From Fan Project to Studio
Gridiron began as a love letter to arcade football and the communities that kept it alive. When the servers went quiet, the players didn't.
We rebuilt the game from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5 with sharper visuals, smoother movement, and netcode made for competitive play. Everything is designed around the moment-to-moment feel of being one player inside a real team.
Today 1336 Studios is a small, remote team of developers, animators, and long-time players shipping updates in the open and running playtests with the community every step of the way.
